Having Faith
Offers us Comfort and Joy
People Sharing a Dream that their Child will be Cured
Everlasting Love From All of Us

Our story is a sad and tragic one. It is about a sweet, little girl named Samantha Britton. Samantha is a bright and beautiful girl who has recently been diagnosed with a rare inoperable brain tumor. Samantha has always been a very healthy, vibrant and energetic child, playing such sports as soccer, gymnastics and most recently cheerleading. Samantha and her parents, Audra and Kurt, and brother Christopher, are originally from Bayville, New York and relocated to Vero Beach, Florida in 2004.

Samantha was treated at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Florida where she has spent several weeks in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She will be transferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Once at St. Jude, Samantha will have extensive radiation treatment daily, for six to seven weeks, followed by ongoing chemotherapy.

As you can imagine, with this type of life threatening disease, the medical costs that Samantha's family have incurred are astronomical. By making a donation to the Samantha Britton Medical Fund, you will be helping Samantha's family defray some of these medical expenses. Any donation you make will be greatly appreciated.

At the young age of six, it is hard to imagine all of the challenges and difficulties that lie ahead. Samantha's family and friends have surrounded her with love, prayers and most of all hope!

Please send donations to “The Samantha Britton Medical Fund” c/o Lollo, 22A 15th Street, Bayville, New York, 11709.

Love,
The Britton and Buonfiglio Families and Friends

I have been following Sam through Catherine and Jason Steigerwald. Our daughter Shelby also has an Anaplastic astrocytoma. I believe you were our neighbors at Ronald McDonald and we didnt even know it. We are sending prayers your way. We are also praying for comfort for Sam, and strength and peace for your family. These children go through so much they shouldnt have too. And they dont complain, they show us how to fight. They are so brave and soooo special to us. But also touch the lives of others that we dont even know. Sam has found a special place in our hearts and we dont even know you guys but through Cat. Please feel free to contact us if you would like or when you have a chance. I would love to visit with you. I am so glad you have Catherine to talk to. She has a lot of knowledge, wise words, and love to share. Please know we are thinking of your family at this time.
    Always Believing,
    Nicole Grover
